Braves Game

This afternoon, Bruce and I went to MS Braves game. It was HOT but fun!!!

Project 52 - Weeks 15, 16, and 17

Week 17 {WHAT MUSIC LOOKS LIKE} - I really liked the theme this week and decided to pull out my guitar and take some pictures. I had a lot of fun playing with my camera and "posing" the guitar until I got just the angle I wanted!

Week 16 {SHADOWS} - I was going to do something new this week, but instead I submitted a picture from last October when Bruce and I took our "staycation" in Vicksburg.  I really love this picture of us!  :)  I think this is the first time that I have used a picture for the Project 52 that was not taken recently, but oh well.

Week 15 {PASTEL} - My last week's picture that I submitted for the "Crave" theme would have been a great pastel picture, so I decided to take this one a completely different direction.  I got out the oil pastels at school and had a great time taking pictures while the kids were working independently on a project!

Easter Weekend

We had a great weekend visiting my family in Louisiana for the weekend.  Saturday night, we had a crawfish boil.  I was so surprised that both Camryn and Caleb tried the crawfish and shrimp and liked it.  As you can see, Caleb even sucked the head of one of the crawfish.  Afterwards, he said, "I don't like that very much."  So cute!

Of course, the weekend was also filled with dying and hunting for Easter eggs.

I also had fun playing with my new lens while at my grandparents. They have such a beautiful yard!

And this is one of my favorites from the weekend. Bruce needed to fix a hat that he had recently bought, so he got out the sewing machine, and with a little help from my mom, he fixed it!!

Project 52 - Week 14

{Crave} - I wasn't sure what pictures to take for this theme, so it was the day before it was due that I was heading to the store to buy the candy.   I do absolutely love Cadbury Mini Eggs, and they are only available around Easter time, so I thought they were a good choice.  I set up my tripod and got to work trying to find just the right angle, lighting, and aperture, and I really like the result!

Charise Wilson Photography - Ezell Family

I had the great privilege of photographing this wonderful family after church today!  I worked with Mrs. Ezell for eight years at Madison Station, and she is now facing a battle with cancer.   While she was in the hospital, she asked me to take pictures of her family, I felt so honored that she had asked me.  This was a VERY quick photo session, but we got some good pictures!  Can you guess what Mrs. Ezell's favorite color is?  Gotta love that pink!
