Project 365 - November 30

November 30 - I actually took this yesterday while at McClain's photoshoot.  Chapel of the Cross is such a beautiful building!

November 29 - I took pictures today of McClain for her Christmas card.  She is adorable! We had fun, we got some good pictures, and I got my exercise!!  :)

November 28 - I found an activity online which involved shaping pipe cleaners into words and then wrapping that in yarn.  That is what one of my fourth graders is working on.  It was kind of like Santa's workshop. It took about two and a half hours.  Oh well..they are really cute, but I don't know if I will ever do that again!

November 27 - Bruce also did a great job with our mantel.  Thanks!!

November 26 - Bruce got our tree up today!  He usually finds a creative place for this little guy to stay each Christmas season, and this is his spot this year!

Project 365 - November 25

November 22-25 - These are all pictures from our Thanksgiving trip to Natchez and Mandeville.

On our way into Mandeville, I saw a billboard for Popcorn Bistro, and the craving set in!  We got some while we were out shopping on Black Friday.  We got White Chocolate Pretzel, Parmesan Garlic, and Cheese Coated Caramel.  They were all wonderful!  BTW, we did not get out early for Black Friday shopping.  We got out around 11:00 in the morning, and it wasn't so bad.  We mainly went looking for stuff to help decorate my booth at Merry Mannsdale next Saturday, where I will be selling Charise Wilson Designs products.  The trip was a success!

Caleb was enjoying taking pictures using his mom and dad's camera.  Most of them got deleted, but I love this picture of he and Granny.

Although this an unusual angle for a butterfly shot, I really like it for some reason.  This butterfly sure enjoyed my Granny's pansies.

This scene looks vaguely familiar to what happened at Easter, except it was my dad involved that time. Bruce had just been running and was about to shower anyway, so it worked out for him to get his face painted instead of Pops.  He is such a good uncle!!  :)

Lily Brooke wasn't feeling so well, but she actually let Bruce hold her while Holly and others were in the kitchen cleaning.

Bruce had fun wrestling with Maddox at Holly's house!

Project 365 - November 21

November 21 - While out running errands today, Bruce had a dentist appointment, so I looked around Highland Village while he was in there and then settled in the center to just enjoy the nice day for a few minutes.  I also go my camera out and started snapping some pictures.

November 20 - I actually took this on the 21st at Highland Village, but I was at the church working on Christmas decoration all day on the 20th and didn't ever get my camera out to take pictures of the decorations.  Silly me!

November 19 - I am sure glad not everyone spends a lot of money to make signs for the obvious!  Bruce and I saw this while out running errands today and we thought it was hilarious.

November 18 - Monte Cristo = so bad for you and yet SOOO yummy!!

November 17 - My fifth graders are working hard on props for their Greek mythology skits.  Looks like somebody forgot to wear his paint clothes (he did good and didn't get any on his nice clothes)!

November 16 - Camryn's choir at church sang tonight in prayer meeting.  She did such a good job!

November 15 - I have been busy creating Christmas gift tags.  Check them out at http://www.charisewilsondeisgns.blogspot.com/

November 14 - In our invention unit, my fourth graders did a timeline of inventions from a particular category.   This is one group presenting their Food and Drink timeline to the class.

Project 365 - November 13

November 13 - Today I had a BLAST taking pictures at Maggie's first birthday.  I had the privilege of taking newborn, three month, six month, and nine month pictures of this cutie!!!  I never posted the nine month pictures (oops), so I will have to do that soon since she is now 1!

Both of the cakes were adorable!

I love this one!  Although you can't see it, Maggie was paying close attention to Mom!

 Her smile cracks me up!

I love this action shot.  It looks like Maggie likes the party hat, but looks can be very deceiving!

Maggie definitely was NOT interested in her cake one bit.

I didn't have a blog a year ago when I took pictures of Maggie when she was about a week old, so here is a look back at what this sweet girl looked like almost a year ago.

Project 365 - November 12

November 12 - My mom came to town earlier this week, and my dad flew in this morning.  We met them, Chad, and the kids at Winner's Circle Park for some fun and a picnic while Cathy was at work this morning.  Winner's Circle Park just reopened after a major renovation and is AMAZING!!!  It's great to have a park like that so close to the house!

Project 365 - November 11

Well, I guess it is sort of easy to catch up on my blog when I don't have too many pictures.   I have been very busy and haven't been taking too many pictures.  :(

 November 11 - I took this at 11:11 on 11/11/11.

November 10 - My fifth graders are doing Greek mythology skits, and they got started working on backdrops and props this week.

November 9 - My fifth graders did this art project with the three types of Greek columns a while back, but I am just now taking pictures of it.

November 6, 7, and 8 - I didn't get any pictures these days.  :(

October 5 - Today I want to two baby showers. I took this as my gift to the first shower, which was for Claire and Baby Girl Belknap.  I love making gifts for special friends!

November 4 - These are some more of my fifth graders working on mythology projects.

November 3 - These are some of my fifth graders working on a Greek myth project.

November 2 - Welcome Thanksgiving season!

November 1 - No picture today.  :(
