Project 365 - April 30

Wow!!  How time is flying by these days.  I seem to be so busy with the end of school near and just lots of things going on.   I have also been bad about taking a picture each day recently, but these were all taken this week!  That counts, doesn't it?!? :)

April 30 - I spent part of the day today with Cathy and the kids at the zoo for an event with Cathy's work.  We had a great time riding the train, riding the carousel, eating Penn's, and walking around the zoo.  I thought this little guy was so cute.  To me, he looks like he is guarding his castle!  I am sure I will post more pictures of the animals next week if I am missing pictures some days!

April 29 - Bruce and I went out to eat at Five Guys with Chad, Cathy, and the kids tonight.  Afterwards, the kids played in the fountain.  Well,  I should rephrase that to say that Camryn played in the foutain, as you can see above.  The picture of Caleb clearly shows his thoughts about the fountain and getting wet!!

April 28 - Again, this one was taken at my grandparents' house.  This was a little arrangement that my Granny had recently bought, and it made a good subject for the camera while I was there!

April 27 - My mom gave me this little foot before I headed off on a mission trip to Thailand about 8 years ago.  She wrote a note with it, "Put your best foot forward!"  My mom is the best!!

April 26 - Field trip time to The Mosaic Shop in Jackson, which, by the way, is AWESOME!!!  You can just pop in anytime they are open and work on a mosaic.  We did take some "normal" pictures this day, but this one was much more fun!

April 25 - This was actually taken at my grandparents' this past weekend, but I just love the colors in this flower that my Granny planted!

April 24 - Happy Easter!!  This is a LOT of geese eggs.  I have never seen anything like this before....very interesting!

April 23 - This is in my grandparents' neighborhood.  I wonder what he is thinking?

Project 365 - April 22

April 22 - I made this from a picture of leftover wood from my tree house project.  Isn't it wonderful to think what Jesus did for us that day on the cross?

Project 365 - April 21

April 21 - Cute shirt I got at Target tonight!

April 20 - This is a picture from Waterfest on Saturday, but I just think it is cute!  Camryn is having surgery tomorrow to fix a hole in her ear that has not healed by itself.   I will be praying for my sweet niece in the morning!

April 19 - More cleaning today... Bruce and I played all weekend, so we are having to spend the week catching up on cleaning.  I wouldn't trade our weekend for anything though!

April 18 - Guess what was on the schedule at our house today?  Yep...five load of laundry after I got home from school!

April 17 - Bruce and I made tree house bases today for my fifth graders at school.  It was a beatiful day outside, and a great way to spend Sunday afternoon with by husband!  Thanks, Bruce!!!

Project 365 - April 16

April 16 - I will post a few picture for today.  Bruce and I went with Chad and the kids to Waterfest at the Reservoir.  It was a fun, but surprisingly chilly day!  The first one is of Caleb inside of a tube.  I just think this picture is pretty neat.  I put the camera inside the tube to get the picture.  The color has not been altered at all!

April 16 - Bruce was teaching Camryn about the tricks of the fishing trade - always hold the fish close to the camera so it looks bigger than it really is!!! :)

April 16 - After Waterfest, we went to watch the funeral processional for a fallen hero from Brandon.  Over 400 bikers led the processional.  It was a wonderful site to see all of the support!!

April 15 - We had terrible weather today, with a tornado in Clinton.  It made for a long day at school.  There was another round of storms coming through this afternoon, and this little dog, named It, was wandering in my neighborhood when I drove home.  I couldn't let her stay out in the weather.  We had her for about three hours at the house.  After much detective work, we finally found the owner, an older gentleman who had recently moved in with his brother.  I am so glad we were able to return his companion to him!

April 14 - Second and third grade chess tournament.  I am so proud of all of them today!

April 13 - Prepared for battle!!!!  I have a chess tournament tomorrow and Friday with my kids at school.  I have never done this before, but I think I am ready.

April 12- Bruce and I both agree that Easter candy is the best!!

April 11- Just playing again with iPhone app!

April 10- Didn't get around to taking any pictures today, and I didn't take the time to find any recent ones to put here.  :(

Project 365 - April 9

April 9 - Bruce went crappie fishing this morning.  He left the house around 5:45 while I was still fast asleep!  He sent this picture to me mid morning with 12 fish already!!

April 8 - We went out to dinner tonight with friends.  I got to have some good Maggie time!

April 7 - So, this is not another frog in our collection!  He was sitting in the driveway when we got home from dinner tonight.

April 6 - I conjuction with our chess tournament next week, I am doing chess art with all my kids this week.  this is one from a fifth grader!

April 5 - Sunset at home!

April 4 - This is another pic I took with iPhone app!

April 3 - Okay, I am attempting to build miniature tree houses with my fifth graders, so Bruce helped me collect lots of materials today after church.  We first went to a park at the reservoir and collected branches. Then, we went to Rob and Melanie's house because he cut down a Bradford Pear today.  This picture is of the wood from their tree.  Then, we had to find someone to help us cut them in half, so Bruce called around and we to one of his coworker's houses and he used his table saw to cut them.  Thanks to everyone for helping with this project!!

April 2 - I found this cool app today on my phone that is just for fun!  This is of Bruce just coming in from fishing.

April 1 - Today, my third graders celebrated their Color Poetry Books.  They had a book signing and then a party.  They had to bring a snack the color of their poem.  A huge thanks to my mom for making the table look so great!!!
